BNY Mellon is a financial services company providing investment and wealth management that helps institutions and individuals succeed in markets all over the world.
Though leading in their sector, BNY Mellon’s visuals felt unfocused and flat, falling short of meaningful messaging and often relying on sterile stock photography. The Markets department aim was to reinvigorate and reinforce BNY’s specific tonal traits of trusted, confident, sophisticated, forward-looking and dynamic.
Originally a senior in-house designer and now a long-term freelancer for the Markets team, I have been able to implement and develop this fresh new brand strategy.
I designed collages that support BNY’s distinct “aerial view” of the world. Also, I executed fact sheets, patterns, illustrations, icons, team wide templates, extensive user guides and more!
